Dune is beloved for its creative Mediterranean fare. Since 2015, Chef/Owner Scott Zwiezen has been serving up satisfying salads, sandwiches, and plates crafted with fresh, organic ingredients. Everything at Dune is made in-house, including the lightly charred flatbread, which comes with most dishes on the menu. Zwiezen and team pickle beets and turnips, grill chicken souvlaki, infuse dates with rosewater and sea salt, and more. They proudly source ingredients from local farmers and small producers, taking advantage of California’s incredible produce. Dune’s signature item — the organic chickpea falafel — is filling and flavorful, and can be enjoyed as a plate, sandwich, or on its own. The Meze Plate, perfect for folks who want a little bit of everything, offers a choice of meat served alongside a spread of hummus, pickled vegetables, and condiments. The classic Tabouleh Salad and Shepherd Salad are refreshing additions to any dish. With LA’s dry, warm weather, the crispy-sweet House Baklava with walnuts, saffron-infused syrup, and honey is the perfect way to end your Mediterranean feast. Our vision was to pay homage to the food we love using the freshest, cleanest, and most local ingredients possible. We were inspired to add the voice of our city to the chorus of beautiful and diverse cultures who call this cuisine their own, and to create our own unique version of the street food of the Levant and the Eastern Mediterranean.
